Texas School Board Appreciation Month
The staff of Miles ISD would like to thank our school board for their service.
Miles Robotics Team Wins TSTC Contest
The 2009 Miles Robotics Team won the Overall TSTC Robotics and Website Competition for the second year in a row. The Team placed 1st in the Dance, 2nd in B-Ball, and 3rd in Web Design.
ESC Region 15 Superintendent of the Year
Miles Superintendent Robert Gibson was named superintendent of the year for the Region XV Education Service Center. Congratulations from all of the Miles Staff and School Board.
MILES ISD is a 2009 Recognized District.
The Texas Education Agency released the latest school ratings. Miles Elementary received an Exemplary Rating. Miles High School received a Recognized rating. Congratulations students and school staff.
MHS Pride Program
MHS is starting off this year with a new concept. MHS is now participating in the PRIDE PROGRAM which emphasizes an importance on student achievement. Students-make sure you are not tardy!!!
